I like to sleep, eat, and did I mention sleep?
I hide and stay out of trouble
that I could've prevented
but chose not to
'cause it's too much work
I also pop out at the wrong times
and scare you
because its fun
and I can get away with anything
'cause you can't punish someone
you can't catch
I have my mood swings and am unfriendly
especially when I don't see why you need to talk to me
just leave me be
I hate everything and everyone
unless you give me food
then I'll love you and be nice
since I'm only nice to those that I like
but if not
don't touch me
Don't even look at me
or I will give you my mean look
I don't care if you get hurt
and I don't care what you say
I am a cat
Don't get in my way
I like that you do not tell us what you are until the end making us wonder what you are. Maybe add a few commas so they can take a breath. Other than that great poem.
ReplyDeleteLIKE MENTIONED EARLIER YOU NEED TO TRY AND EXPLORE ALL THINGS ABOUT A CAT AND CONNECT IT WITH YOU. WHY ARE THEY SO GROUCHY OR WHY DONT THEY WANT TO BOTHERED AND HOW DOES THAT RELATE TO YOU. ALSO CATS ARE VERY PLAYFUL AND NOT JUST GROUCHY ANIMALS, IF THATS THE CASE NO ONE WOULD WANT THEM AS PETS, TALK ABOUT THE GOOD STUFF AS WELL AND NOT JUST THE NEGATIVE. TRY TO ADD MORE PERSONAL LINES ABOUT YOU AND NOT ALL ABOUT THE CAT. ms(3-)
